Description: Also known as the Australian Umbrella Tree, this large, popular houseplant showcases attractive, large glossy oval foliage grouped at the ends of stems in groups of six. They remain green all year long, protruding from handsome burgundy stems. Native to the shady underside of rainforest canopies in Australia and New Guinea, this fast-growing tropical prefers a humid environment. A tray of pebbles and water beneath the pot, or a small humidifier could be beneficial during winter months. 

Watering: Does best in average to evenly moist soil, will not tolerate standing water. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings.
