Latin Name: Phlox paniculata 'EARLY® MAGENTA'

Description: Part of the EARLY START™ series of Garden Phlox, this series is bred to bloom earlier than many other varieties of Phlox, and create more compact tufts of flowers with shorter stems. 'EARLY® MAGENTA' showcases large clusters of numerous bright magenta purple flowers, putting on a long-lived show of blooms from early summer to early fall. The flowers smell fragrant, and attract pollinators in search of the sweet nectar inside the blossoms. The blooms appear over dark stems and foliage adorned with red hues. The leaves are long, smooth, deep green, and lance-shaped. Perfect for an easy-to-maintain pop of colour in sunny areas.
