Latin Name: Citrus × sinensis
Description: A dwarf, standard variety of your favourite summer treat! Branched with a rounded crown and covered in handsome, elliptical leaves which are alternately arranged on the branches. Delicate, white star-shaped flowers with wispy yellow stamens arranged in a central ring are produced usually in the spring time, and they are packed with a delicious, citrusy scent. The fruit is edible, though the fruits will most likely be much smaller and more tarte than fruit typically seen in stores. Even when your plant is not in bloom, citrus trees are known for their citrusy scent all year round, which is emitted from the rich, green, glossy leaves.
