Description: One of the hardiest, it is a large, broadly oval, impressive native oak with unusual branching characteristics and corky twigs. It grows well in a wide range of soils and tolerates air pollution. The foliage is dark green above and covered with soft, greyish-green hairs on the underside. A Xeriscape plant.
