Latin Name: Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus'
Description: Commonly called Porcupine Grass, Miscanthus Strictus is similar to Miscanthus 'Zebrinus', with unique horizontal striping. Feathery panicles develop in August and turn from bronze to white in the Fall.
Potentially Invasive: Miscanthus cultivars are reputably sterile, but two cultivars can occasionally cross-pollinate and produce viable seeds. Recommended to plant only one cultivar.
