Description: This Maiden Grass is a compact variety with narrow leaves that is green in the spring and turns red and purple in the fall. It has a distinct white stripe down the middle of the leaves and it produces red feathery plumes from mid-summer to the fall. This is a warm season grass - meaning they are slower to start in the spring.
Potentially Invasive: Miscanthus cultivars are reputably sterile, but two cultivars can occasionally cross-pollinate and produce viable seeds. Recommended to plant only one cultivar.
