Description: This type of Maiden Grass has green leaves with silver streaks along the middle, the leaves turn golden in the fall. In late summer until the fall there are burgundy feathery plumes that appear. This is a warm season grass - meaning they are slower to start in the spring.
Potentially Invasive: Miscanthus cultivars are reputably sterile, but two cultivars can occasionally cross-pollinate and produce viable seeds. Recommended to plant only one cultivar.
