Latin Name: Citrus limon 'Meyer'
Description: Grow your own lemons right from your home! These indoor shrubs make an excellent accent piece within any bright room, and can easily be brought outside in the summer. Flowers are fragrant.
Watering: Lemon trees perform better in dryer soil. Do not let the roots dry out. Soak thoroughly, then wait until the top 2/3 of the pot has become dry. Curling leaves and leaf drop are often a sign of over watering and underwatering.
Growth Rate: Slow- needs to be trimmed back in the winter.
Shape: upright branching
Sun or Shade: Full sun
Difficulty level: medium- requires some patience.
