Latin Name: Lamiastrum galeobdolon 'Hermann's Pride'
Description: Commonly known as Herman's Pride Lamium, this clump-forming perennial with oval, sharply-toothed silvery leaves and prominent, contrasting dark-green veins and pointed terminal ends. In the late spring, hoards of bulbous, bright, buttery yellow buds appear in whorls emerging from the leaf axils. This variety of Yellow Archangel is less intrusive than its close relatives, tending to have a more well-behaved habit. A very useful plant for filling in groundcover in shadier areas.
