Latin Name: Hemerocallis 'Mauna Loa'

Description: Commonly known as a 'Daylily', the 'Mauna Loa' variety showcases an abundance of large, vibrant sunset-orange flowers adorned with pale yellow-green throats and thin, ruffled exterior edges. The gorgeous blooms float neatly on sturdy stalks, sometimes clustered in pairs or threes above the long, medium-green, grass-like foliage. Blooming from early to mid-summer, daylilies put on a splendidly long-lived show. Very easy to grow and drought tolerant, perfect for border edging or mass plantings. Remove spent blooms and seedpods to improve visual quality and encourage reblooming.
