GREEN TEA PLANT

$17.99

Latin Name: Camellia Sinensis

Description: Soft green leaves emerge on new and old wood, making the green tea plant a vivacious grower. Small white flowers may appear in the summer, and should they be brought outside can be pollinated by local bees.

DISCLAIMER: Peter Knippel Garden Centre recognizes that plant-derived medicaments and home remedies are used by all cultures; however, we do not recommend, endorse, or advise the consumption of available plants. Research all plants before using. Use or consume at own risk.

Watering: Do not let the plant dry out. A good practice is to use a soil moisture meter towards the inside of the roots, or use your finger to best decide how saturated the soil it. A thorough soak every 10-15 days is a good benchmark.

Growth Rate: medium-fast
Shape:  upright, branching
Sun or Shade: Indirect bright sun
Difficulty level: Easy
