Latin Name: Goeppertia insignis
Description: Known for it's uniquely slender leaves, the rattlesnake Calathea displays its peacock-like, green oval stripes, with hints of white and purple on semi-firm, wavy, crisp foliage. Requires indirect light and distilled water.
Watering: Calathea species are known to be picky with their watering. Thriving in well draining soil, be sure to let tap water sit for at least 24 hours, or use distilled water when thoroughly soaking plant roots.
