Description: Grown for its low maintenance and pest resistance, the Hart's tongue fern has thick, waxy leaves that add structure and texture to shady gardens. As the fronds (leaves) mature, they develop conspicuous, textured brown stripes. This fern is self contained and clump-forming. Plant in moist, well draining soils. Great for underplanting leggy roses and other shrubs.
