Latin Name: Anemone x hybrida 'Lucky Charm'
Description: From foliage to flower, the Lucky Charm Japanese Anemone is full of beauty. New leaves emerge a deep violet and quickly turn to a deep green with light violet undersides. Violet buds dance on nearly black stems, contrasting with the violet-rose blooms that persist into the fall. Dense habit makes for great foundation xeriscaping or adding a flowering focal feature in summer gardens.
Japanese anemone is potentially invasive. To avoid spreading, deadhead spent blooms and cut back to 6" each fall.
