Latin Name: Alocasia 'Dark Star'
Description: Alocasia 'Dark Star' is a large, beautiful variety of this popular aroid tropical features massive, stunning heart shaped bright emerald green leaves on sturdy, upright deep dark purple stems. In prime conditions, this plant can reach up to 6 ft. high with leaves that can reach up to 5 ft. wide! These plants thrive in temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius, and go through a period of dormancy in the winter where they will need significantly less water. A relatively easy to care for plant with a big personality!
Watering: Water when the top two inches of soil are dry. Usually every 2 weeks in the summer, usually more like once a month during the winter.

We do not guarantee against losses due to vandalism, theft, mechanical or chemical injury, animal damage, pest damage, neglect, improper care or severe weather conditions beyond our control.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY: The purchaser agrees to follow proper planting, maintenance, watering frequency and winter protection.
If replacement is necessary, the customer is responsible for presenting the failed plant material and the original purchase invoice.
