Latin Name: Actaea 'Brunette' 

Description: A fantastic part-sun perennial grown for it's dark, fan shaped foliage. Better tolerance to morning and mid-day sun than other bugbane varieties. Avoid afternoon sun. Given it's height and compact growth habit, it is an excellent companion for the sun king aralia or the raspberry sundae hosta. Creamy pink flower spires emerge in the fall before dormancy.
