Latin Name: Stokesia laevis 'Mels Blue'

Description: Commonly called Stokes' Aster, 'Mels Blue' is covered in beautifully delicate periwinkle coloured flowers blooming in the summer, over a dense mound of green foliage. It is an excellent addition to sun gardens and needs well draining soil. Attractive to butterflies and makes a great cut flower.
