Latin Name: Calamintha nepeta 'Marvelette Blue'

Description: Also known as Catmint, this compact and bushy perennial showcases loose clusters of small, tubular, double-lipped white or pale blue flowers. Flowering from late spring right up until the first frost, the flowers are held upright on aromatic stems clad with semi-evergreen handsome silvery-green leaves. When crushed or brushed, the blooms and leaves release a delicious lemony-mint fragrance. A close relative of catnip, this perennial is quite attractive to not only gardeners, but our feline friends as well. Catmint makes a lovely choice for sunny borders and mass plantings where its beauty and fragrance can be savored.
