Latin Name: Anemone hupehensis 'Pocahontas'
Description: A magnificent bloom of colour as the summer fades to fall. Robust blush buds open to double-flowered pink blooms. As the bloom matures, attractive brown seed pods persist into the fall. Excellent for garden edging and recommended in contained planters. This particular variety is borderline hardy in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and requires winter protection.
Japanese anemone is potentially invasive. To avoid spreading, deadhead spent blooms and cut back to 6" each fall.
