Latin Name: Astilbe Chinensis var. Pumila
Description: A true Dwarf Chinese astilbe, the Pumila is perfect for adding bright pops of colour to shady gardens. A unique quality of the Pumila is that it can be planted in partial to full sun. Firm green foliage emerges early in the spring. Soft tufts of pink florets bloom through June and July, sending new spires if the spent blooms are removed. Great for underplanting large trees or filling shady areas.
