Description: Native to parts of Korea, Angelica Gigas is a beautiful ornamental biennial that attracts many pollinators and beautiful butterflies. Scarlet flowers emerge from swollen chartreuse buts and persist into the fall.
Potentially invasive: Re-seeding habit makes Angelica Gigas quite the spreader. Cut back down to 6" each fall or after blooms begin to fade. Native alternatives include Swamp Milkweed and Joe-Pye weed.
