Latin Name: Anemone x hybrid 'Pink CLoud (PKAN)
Description: Also known as a dwarf windflower, the Pink Cloud Japanese anemone is a fantastic fall perennial for compact gardens and underplanting fall shrubs. Deep green foliage creates a dense mound. Deep red buds emerge in the summer, blooming into large pink-white gradient flowers. This particular variety is borderline hardy in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and requires winter protection.
Japanese anemone is potentially invasive. To avoid spreading, deadhead spent blooms and cut back to 6" each fall.
