Latin Name: Phlox pulchra
Description: Commonly known as Mountain Phlox, this plant forms a bushy, upright clump of bright green obovate leaves which in the early summer, are topped with tight clusters of fragrant, star shaped, lilac-blue blooms. They gracefully rise over the foliage, and remain flowering for several weeks. One of the best selections of phlox for hut and humid areas. Trim back hard after blooming to keep a neat habit and encourage reblooming.
