Latin Name: Symphyotrichum novae-angliae 'Kickin Carmine Red'

Description: A new England aster cultivar. Fine green leaves create a solid mound excellent for garden edging during the spring and summer. Towards the fall, red buds open to carmine-double blooms. Asters are an excellent pollinator for the fall, and are reliably low maintenance. Winter protection is recommended in harsher environments.
