Latin Name: Aquilegia Earlybird 'Blue and White'


Description: Other common names for Aquilegia 'Blue and White' include Blue Columbine or Granny's Bonnet. This perennial is compact with eye-catching sectioned leaves and unusual, striking blue and white bi-colour petals surrounding a ring of yellow stamens. A smaller, more compact size than the Songbird variety. The lovely, delicate fern-like blue/green foliage adds late summer interest after the blooms have passed. The lovely, bold, sky blue bell-shaped bi-colour blossoms add early spring interest to sunny flower beds or borders.
