Latin Name: Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips'
Description: Also known as Turtlehead, this native cultivar is a fantastic colourful addition to any sunny garden landscape. Deep green foliage grows quickly in the spring, then shoot out tall spires in the late summer. Blooms look like the heads of turtles emerging from their shells. A garden classic and an excellent attraction for hummingbirds and bumblebees.
