Latin Name: Geranium sanguineum 'Rozanne'
Description: One of the longest bloom periods of all the hardy geraniums, this unique, exceptional plant showcases medium-sized, saucer shaped, lavender blue, five petaled blossoms with a central light purple splash and long, deep violet stamens protruding from a white eye in the middle of the flower. The blooms are profuse, literally covering the slightly marbled, aromatic, deep green, lobed foliage from late spring until the first frost in autumn. Grows vigorously, but not aggressively, making it an excellent choice for a long-blooming groundcover.
