Japanese Tree Lilac



Latin Name: Syringa reticulata

Description: Similar to the Ivory Silk, but is shrub-shaped rather than tree-form (multi-stemmed from the ground up instead of a single trunk). Very attractive in midsummer, bearing large panicles of creamy-white flowers every second year (unless it is pruned back after the flowers have finished). Excellent as a large shrub or specimen tree in the large garden.
